Abstract
The article discusses informative features in images, their role and extraction methods. The study covers various types of features, including texture,
color, geometric and structural elements, which play a key role in image analysis and recognition. Modern feature extraction methods, such as machine learning algorithms and fractal dimension, are described. The applicability of these methods in various fields such as medical imaging, biometrics, remote sensing image processing, and agriculture is also analyzed. Examples of successful application of informative features in real-world problems are given, and prospects for further research in this area are discussed.
