Abstract
The article reveals the features of the educational process in a military University when studying the discipline "Descriptive geometry and engineering graphics". Requirements for military specialists in the context of globalization and Informatization. The existing problems and some ways to solve them, the tasks facing teachers and cadets are considered. The necessity to focus on the graphic training of a modern army cadet is justified.
